Accountant - Fund | Accountant - REPE | Accountant / Book keeper | Associate Manager, Client and Business

  Junior Accountant - German speaking (100 %)

The job will be located in the Luxembourg office of the company at Kirchberg.

JOB AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Bookkeeping and finance related administration tasks in coordination with the other team members of the finance team
• Assisting in the maintenance of accounting records and preparation of financial reports, i.e. deliverables
• Preparing supporting working documents (interest calculations, reinvoicing spreadsheets. etc.)
• Providing supporting documents/information (bank statements, documents needed for periodical and annual VAT declarations, etc.)
• Managing the payments process
• Understanding of legal documents relevant to keeping files up to date

  YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or professional education as accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter IHK, Steuerfachangestellter or similar)
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience within a Big 4 accounting firm or national accounting firm strongly preferred
• Experience with IFRS, Lux GAAP
• Good understanding of the Luxembourg investment fund activities and mainly in real estate, financial industry is an asset
• Advanced understanding of Excel and proficient in Word
• Knowledge with DATEV is an advantage

SOFT SKILLS:

• Fluent communication skills, both written and spoken in English and German is required (any other language would be considered as a plus)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Sound organizational skills
• A team player with a positive pro-active attitude, who can also work independently
