The Business Development Executive is responsible for providing strategic relationship management and consultative services to our clients. The Business Development Executive is responsible for marshalling Willis Towers Watson resources to provide coordinated service and placement activities that meet the client’s insurance and risk management needs. Responsible for ensuring relevant regulatory and technical standards are met. Leverages advanced skill set with P&C knowledge to design and consult with clients on insurance coverage and services; uses understanding of clients’ needs to expand business opportunities and further solidify client relationships. Ability to focus on delivering exceptional customer service while working in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.
The Role
Proactively & positively managing Willis Towers Watson’s business relationship with the client
Produce new business through networking and various other means of prospecting
Regularly contact existing clients to ensure quality of service is being delivered
Identify needs of existing and prospective clients through research and involvement with relevant resources
Identification and presentation of appropriate products and services to clients
Develop account strategies, presentations and other forms of communication with client
Coordinate and assume ultimate responsibility for the comprehensive delivery of Willis Towers Watson’s service to the client and ensuring the integrity of said provision at all times.
Ensuring that client engagement, contract formation and service delivery processes are fully compliant with Group policies across all territorial, legal and regulatory domains
Increasing the profitability of the client account & ensuring retention of that business over time
Manage all client renewals through the various Willis Towers Watson marketing and client service teams
Assist with the preparation and delivery of our value proposition on new business
Leading by example and providing a strong role model and influence on others for best Client Advocate practices
Contributing to the revenue growth of the office
Participation to Management meetings of the brokerage entity
Identify and coordinate necessary resources to meet client needs (analytics/risk control)
Recognize opportunities to cross-sell
The Requirements
Minimum of 5 years insurance experience in a commercial: client management brokerage environment with success in client service, account management and placement
Degree in insurance, finance, law or related field
Good understanding of International Programs
Ability to focus on delivering exceptional client service while working in a fast paced, high volume environment with minimal supervision
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, and support colleagues on the team
French is mandatory. Excellent working knowledge of English
Requires excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, customer service and team building skills
